Aigis/Ragna (or Tager)
Ruby and Aigis interaction makes me laugh so much
Blake/Yosuke is great.
Although, Ruby/Hyde is arguable the best power couple.
Best Girl and Best Squirrel:
(And sometimes Ragna/Hyde to cheese it, or Es/Ruby because their cross distirtion combo)
I learned that I'm an Es main as I only really feel comfortable playing as Es so my main struggle is just finding someone to pair with her. For a while I did Es/Yosuke which actually does oddly work. However, recently I learned of the glory that is Es/Orie. They both seem to just have a sort of synergy with their movesets.
Hyde/Orie is currently my most stable team.
I originally wanted to run Hyde/Hazama, but neutral is very very VERY important in BBTAG, and Hazama being able to skip neutral entirely will probably only lead to me developing worse habits as a player if I kept playing him while I'm still learning the game.
As such, I'm going with a very neutral-dependent team. Both Hyde and Orie are very stable solo, and both have access to great assists. (Hyde in particular has some of the best in the game.)
I've also had fun with Hazama/Yosuke, Hyde/Ragna, and Naoto/Hazama.
For me it is similar, I played Hazama alot, Terumi or Makoto were my mains before but in BBtag he is harder for me.
Characters I am not good at all at are Es and Nu.
I have a hard time learning them.
I'm really liking Ragna/Yu, only because I can't play Hyde, otherwise Ragna/Hyde all the way
I find Haz a lot of fun but I just can't use the Ouroborus for the life of me.

I still need to get the full game, but in the demo I had a lot of fun with Ruby and Yu, Yu especially. I might try out cat waifu (Blake) and Aigis, but until I try them out, it's Ruby and Yu for me.
