Onset Of Oblivion
Ketsal roared and thrashed around as the spheres hit its long body. The Dracomancer sucked in a breath when a sphere struck his cloak, but whispered something to calm his ride down. The winged serpent coiled up on the ground and the Dracomancer extended his hand to the man. Flight was not an issue. Getting up there was... although their new passenger might lessen the danger.
Onset Of Oblivion
The Dracomancer quietly observed the chaos from up above. The oddly-dressed man below had some method of stopping those creatures, but with what magic he had no idea. "Ketsal. Breath." The winged serpent screeched and opened its jaws. A tornado spiraled down as dragon and rider descended. If all went well, the path would be cleared of any remaining flying creatures, allowing the two to get closer to Kali and the man.
Onset Of Oblivion
The man frowned and muttered something to the white beast. It roared and retreated back into the portal, the magical opening closing once it did so. The man began to run as a section of ground broke away nearby. He ducked into a store just before a hand broke the building's front wall. He traced a shape in the air again and whispered something that was drowned out by the rumbling outside. A winged serpent appeared out of the clouds this new, larger portal revealed. The man whistled to call the creature. He pulled himself onto its back and commanded it to fly upwards and away from the crumbling earth. If they met no resistance on the way up, they would hover to assess the damage.
Onset Of Oblivion
The shaking ground forced the man to his hands and knees. He stared at the pit with wide eyes for a few seconds, then tore his gaze away to trace a shape on the store's window. A white circular outline about ten feet in diameter formed on the surface. Magical energy bloomed outwards to create a "window" to what appeared to be a temple. A white dragon with feathery wings dug one set of claws into the cracking mall ground and stuck its head out. All it took was a single gesture from the man for it to let loose a beam of light from its jaws at the shadowy hand that had been grasping nearby.
Onset Of Oblivion
Unlike a few around here, the man concealed in a brown and gold hooded robe was unaware of the predictions. Rather, he was a mere traveler passing through. He kept walking along the storefronts yet never went in. He eventually stopped in front of an electronics store. He was practically hypnotized by the TV set to the news station playing in the window.
Two dark princes (Devon ver)
The cloaked man sitting in front of Shakespeare claps. Truly a great play. The dog-sized red dragon beside him, however, is fast asleep because it’s late.

&quot;...I have Earth gems. Close enough. I just use eight kinds of magic.&quot; He leans back and yawns. &quot;I'm going to pack up soon... they're 500 yen each.&quot; <spoiler>time to vanish to pet a cat and for food, night folks</spoiler>

The man scratches his head. &quot;...only gems with elements inside already.&quot; He seems a bit disappointed himself. The idea was interesting, but he sadly had nothing.

Now that the narrator is home, the cloaked man nods, a gleam coming to his eye. &quot;Interesting. It's just Gold where I come from.&quot; Phyros wakes up and huffs, thumping his tail. &quot; No, no, there isn't any. Go back to sleep. So, what do AZ and DZ stand for? And this is Phyros, newcomer. Fire dragon chick. Still young.&quot;<div class='edited'>(edited by Dracomancer)</div>

&quot;T...wo thousand yen? That sounds right.&quot; He nods and pets Phyros.

A person in a brown and green cloak sits on the side of a street, with a sign beside them: &quot;Stuff For Sale, Gems and More&quot;. Being new in this place, they had no Yen, and little knowledge of what it is. Hence the mini yard/street sale. A dog-sized red dragon snores beside them.
