Alt realizes he hadn't yet had to say his name. For a moment he seems to hesitate before speaking.
"Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. You can call me Alt. You've probably already figured out but I'm an alchemist. I even run my own Atelier back home and opened up a smaller one just outside of the city as well.
I'm actually a little well known back in the town I'm from but I really am just a simple alchemist."
Alt would go over to where the vase from before landed and pick it up before bringing it back into his bag.
Finally, he'd turn back to face the others. The term Time Keeper was also of interest to him. He'd never heard of someone who could easily manipulate time. Even for an alchemist, it was a task that required years of training and research.
"Sorry, the extent I've seen of time manipulation is stopping it and bringing something back from the past. Both those things were under specific circumstance too. I'd explain the latter in better detail but it'd take about an hour."
He'd also address Roxas' comment with a bit of confusion
"You've met a god but have doubts in doing so again? Deities aren't that uncommon to see when you've been around a while. I've even beaten a few with some help, both from other alchemists and my own alchemy."
Alt would be listening carefully as he looks down to the ground with one hand under his chin.
"I see, most with that kind of power don't think to focus it in such ways. I suppose it's obvious to do such a thing. Even I-"
For a moment he seemed to pull himself out of his train of thought.
"Nevermind, what I'm more interested in is what you are. You certainly speak as if you're something beyond just human. Maybe a spirit, no, perhaps a diety? It's rare to meet something on that level but always a good chance to learn something."
It would take Alt a moment to also realize Roxas had said something to him.
"Oh, interested in my craft? I make more than just potions. It's not a stretch to say there's nothing I can't make with the right materials. It's a shame he didn't take my potion either. I wanted to see just how effective it was."
Alt would look back at Moebius, almost seeming to be smiling a little.
"Yes, very enlightening. I think you even gave me a new alchemy idea. Perhaps you could also explain that trick of yours too. I've never seen someone do something like that without alchemy before. Makes me wonder what other tricks you might have up your sleeves."
Alt wasn't sure exactly what to do or who to side on in this matter. He wasn't here to watch someone die though so He'd keep that thought in the back of his head. He looked over to the "beer" curiously. It only took him a second to figure out what it actually was due to his experience as an alchemist.
"Such a low-quality potion...I refuse. Such a potion is a mockery to me as an alchemist. If you want a healing potion take this instead."
Alt would reach into his bag and pull out a small vase with a glass lid on top of it. The liquid inside was clear and shiny, almost like dew. He'd throw the vase towards Alex, Unsure if he'd actually be able to catch it.
"I don't care if you actually use it or not but I'd appreciate it back if you don't. Reviving Dew isn't easy to make, you know."
Alt would watch the strange spectacle as Moebius seemed to be perfectly prepared for the lightning bolt. He almost seemed to be studying it as if something had interested him far more than the ongoing fight.
"Sharp senses or maybe just luck? Hmmm, wonder how they knew. Either way might be enlightening to observe a little more...Of course..."
He'd finally opt to step forward, specifically walking toward Alex before getting to close to have actually stepped between the two.
"Hey, what exactly are you thinking attacking someone randomly like that? Seems a bit unfair, doesn't it? Although, they seemed to have been able to dodge it but you should consider yourself lucky no one was hurt.
I don't think anyone in here would be too happy or forgiving about something like that."
For a moment Alt would glare at Alex, his eyes cold and lifeless for just a moment. There was something almost inhuman about the look but as quickly as his expression changed curiosity filled his expression once more. He seemed to almost be watching Alex to see how he would respond.
Out on the sidewalk outside the GYM a boy who looked no older than 16 was hunched down to the ground picking at some grass growing in the cracks of the pavement. He wore odd clothes as well that looked far too flashy to belong to an ordinary person, almost like they were a performer of some sort.
They had a bag at their side as well that they'd eventually put a bundle of grass into before getting back up.
"Can't really find too many ingredients in the city like this but might as well take whatever I can find. This grass is a little low quality though..."
He'd stand there seeming to ponder something before being interrupted by the noise coming from the GYM.
"The sounds of a fight? Is this some kind of place where the hold exams or something? Maybe I should observe, never hurts to be too prepared."
Finally the strange boy would enter the building without trying to alert anyone. He'd simply stand near the entrance and watch as Roxas and Niko fought. Not caring to disturb them or anyone else spectating.
An Inexplicable Nap
(This thread was a lot of fun. I'll be waiting for earnest for the next part whenever you have time to do it.)
An Inexplicable Nap
With his mouth finally free of the tape Alt would once again be able to speak and wouldn't hesitate to begin correcting the man's statements.
"Special? What's that supposed to mean? I don't believe myself to be anything all that special, aside from some practical skill and talent. As for your magic, I'm fine without it. I'm not one to put too much faith into pure magic so it kinda ruins the fun for me."
Alt would look around, seeing the child cling to his leg and the girl from earlier. He'd take the bottle from before and open it up. He'd spill a droplet of the substance on each of his hands carefully.
The burns on his hands seem to slowly heal more and more but he also seems to be discomforted by whatever was speeding his recovery.
"This stuff is much more pleasant to drink..."
The ball from earlier seemed to lose any spark of life it once had. Slowly it began crumbling apart before dissolving into sand.
An Inexplicable Nap
Alt wasn't sure what was going on but what he saw was a scared child and a girl who had been kidnapped. He failed to even consider himself kidnapped as he was used to having things under control, regardless he'd reach for the tape on his mouth and attempt to tear it off with one of his free hands.
With his other arm, he'd pull out a strange looking bottle. The bottle would be tall and thin with a lightly-glowing greenish blue liquid inside. The liquid in the bottle almost seemed to have more of a honey-like consistency than that of water.
He'd glance over at Efina and then to the anxious man from before as if prompting him to answer her question while he removed the tape from his mouth.
