Should I get a nintendo switch?
Click to go to bottom
I've been wondering if I should get a nintendo switch, as I like persona 5 a lot and playing him in a fighting game would be cool, but i'm not sure if I want to shell out $300 for one. Thoughts?
Why play as Persona 5 when you can play as Fatal Fury and Undertale
if you just wanna play the games, get the lite, as it's 199 usd but if you want to use the system as its meant to (the actual 'switch' aspect), get the full one. personally, i'd save up the extra cash and get the actual switch, or try and find a secondhand one if it's too much. a switch is a definite buy though

Why play as Persona 5 when you can play as Fatal Fury and Undertale my bad, didn't pre-read

The switch controllers are kinda flimsy with a design flaw, but barring that, it's more than worth it. Plus, some pro controllers might not have said design flaw.
I love my Switch. I have a ton of hours on Splatoon 2. It is one of my favourite games. If Nintendo is your thing, then definitely get a Switch. :)
Why play as Persona 5 when you can play as Fatal Fury and Undertale my bad, didn't pre-read Oh no, it's hilarious. But yeah, as others have said the Switch is probably turning up to be a very high quality gaming console. If you're a fan of MegaTen as a whole, it also has 3 games (including a spin-off and a remake) from the franchise has a whole confirmed, with Shin Megami Tensei V taking it's time.

The design flaw is that it's super easy to make the sticks drift. Dirt often gets stuck beneath the sticks, which make said drifing happen.
Don't get a switch if you have a PS4. If you really wanna play Joker in Smash, then as Elmco said buy a Lite-Switch which is not that expensive and cool if you wanna try games. And about persona, just wait for P5R. It won't be on Switch...
uh, ps4 and switch are incomparable. as someone who works with video games and consoles, i can tell you that having a ps4 doesn't mean you don't need a switch. if you're comparing xbone and ps4, yes, that's a good comparison since they're both selling the same thing: home consoles. when looking at the 2 side-by-side, you'd be comparing specs, ui and exclusives. in that situation, i'd recommend a ps4 over xbox by far, as the specs are similar but ps4's ui and exclusives are much better. however, switch is different in the fact that it's not only a home console. while it can be a home console, the big unique thing about the switch is the "switch" factor of it; switching between a console and a handheld. the specs of a switch vs a ps4 would not even come close, because the switch sacrificed graphics for the portability. same with the joy-cons, there are no joy-cons for the ps4. all that is unique to the switch, so since the 2 are so different, it'd be difficult to compare them as so. but if you're only comparing the exclusives, well you'd have to look and decide. there's also the possibility that p5 or p5r are coming to switch later on, so if that's the exclusive you're looking for, well it's not so exclusive anymore. The design flaw is that it's super easy to make the sticks drift. Dirt often gets stuck beneath the sticks, which make said drifing happen.ah yeah, you right
