Color scheme ideas for P6
Click to go to bottom
I think ATLUS should use green. Maybe a game based on something like illness or spreading disease. Some YouTuber mentioned these ideas, but I don’t remember the name. If anybody knows that’d be great. Anyway, your thoughts?
While green can be associated with what you just mentioned, I think the most likely use of that color would be the meaning of growth. Or maybe the excepting of growth/change. Compared to Purple and Orange, green has the most meanings for it. Purple has an association with Royalty. But other then that there’s not a lot you can do with it. And orange doesn’t have a lot other than... ...Halloween...?
That sounds like an average Persona fanfic to me
Well one day i was in a waiting room and came up with a long list of ideas for a persona 6. My thoughts were, it would be a game about self discovery and individuality. The colors would be purple with gold accents. All the party members would use a knife of somr sort in their off hand but customize it to their personality. It would be set during a road trip across either japan or europe. (I Based that thought process off the fact p5 was suposed to be a round the world roas trip but was changed, but i think setting it in europe would be more then enoguh space...or set it in japan cause weebs) the velvet room would probably be a light house looking over and endless ocean covered in a dense fog. The room it self would have blank artist pose statue things all over the place in identical poses. Music wise i would have it be funk based to represent the themes of independance.
I had many more ideas but have lost track of them
While the road trip idea sounds cool, it probably would have some problems actually being done. I could understand your party being with you on the road trip, but your other confidants would be harder to work with. Unless you want 20+ people in your car. Unless we want to go old school persona and there’s no confidants, the road trip is a bad idea. That is a good point. I dunno how atlus was going to solve that. If i were developing the game i would probably counter that issue by having the social links either take less time to complete, or make it so the road trip is a school event so all your students and teachers you wanna bang are with travelling with you. For non school related social links i am not sure? Perhaps if you make a social link in lets say italy if you max it out before you leave and they become your girl friend they will join you on your trip. But im only a programmer not a game dev. So what do i know besides persona 5 is a great game.
Persona games would do best in one location, but the idea of a non-Japanese setting would be a nice change to the series. Maybe Persona 6 could take place in an American setting?
Hmm, an american setting could be interesting. Especially a new york city setting. Allowing you to explore the dense city.
The one of best parts of P5 was the amount of stuff you could do compared to P3 and P4. So, having a larger area would be nice.
Didn't even think about that. I do quite like that idea. And it would be a nice change from tokyo.
The problem is the lack of stuff to do when it inevitably gets compared to Persona 5. Inaba was boring when I came back to play it again recently. I would like a rural place as long as it has more stuff to do then in Persona 4.
I think no matter where it is set atlus will make sure there will be at least as much content persona 5 had.

I want the color scheme to be green and I want it to be based off the impact that the phantom thieves left on the world. I want it to be based of solving crimes and in the final battle I want you to kill the god of chaos. I want it to be set in New York City (any of the 3 major arias of nyc.) I want the mementos like structure to be the Empire State Building and the protagonists lives in Long Beach New York (witch is an hour commute to manhattan) and most of the travel is done by train. I feel like atlas can really run with this concept.

Persona games aren’t actually that connected though. While there are references to the other games, no two main persona games (except for the P2 sequel) are as connected as you described it. The phantom thieves can be mentioned but the plot can’t be directly influenced by the previous story. Perhaps that would be a good idea for a direct sequel to P5

Perhaps that would be a good idea for a direct sequel to P5 I think that it would be better if the main character was in a bad place in life but hearing about what the phantom thieves did gives them hope and then from then on there is 1-2 mentions of them.

Just saying, JRPG series usually are made so you don’t have to play the previous games to understand the plot (except Kingdom Hearts because it’s fucking Kingdom Hearts). There can (and probably will) be references to P5 but I doubt the main story will mention them. A potential reference to P5 in P6 could maybe be that you can buy a DVD of a movie Ann acted in
Or like in P5 how you can get that poster of Rise or that
Or like in P5 how you can get that poster of Riseit should be called the thief mask and it would share the joker mask sprite from p5 or p5r.
